What actually goes into CE certification?

Spoiler: a lot more abuse than you might expect.

At Enantios, we’ve completed the full CE compliance process for our Gen 1 ROA instrument — and we’re excited to share a glimpse of what that meant behind the scenes.

To meet CE standards, our system had to withstand a series of demanding tests, including:

⚡ Emissions & EMC testing – ensuring the instrument operates safely without interfering with or being affected by other equipment.

💧 Liquid spill testing – simulating accidental lab spills to verify that the device stays safe and functional.

🧱 A 0.5 kg drop test – yes, we literally dropped weight onto the instrument to ensure mechanical durability.

The result?

Our instrument passed every test with flying colors and kept operating throughout — even after more “abuse” than any real-world lab scenario would ever involve.

Building a tool worthy of modern pharmaceutical R&D isn’t just about precision — it’s about reliability. And we’re proud to deliver both.
